Harry S. Truman digital painting
« on: June 27, 2009, 04:11:39 PM »
This is a digital painting of Harry S. Truman in a vector form.  Basically a Vector is an image that is shaded with a cell pattern.  Each group of colors (be it B&W or RGB) is assigned an overall color.  I hope you like it keep in mind that it is supposed to look the way it does.  It took about 3  hours and only using the Paths tool and brushes to fill in the selected area.

File size is amazingly small.  Looks great.
Very nice work!

When I think of Truman, I think of the years he served as President, when the US only had 48 states and the 48 star flag.

Awesome likeness. Great job

Offering idea as I couldn't take a screenshot that well :)  the poofy shading on the shoulders, especially the right side, was a bit high and that is my only "feedback" for you. More of that like a cameo effect would do well, me thinks too. Either way.....heck-of-a-job.   :salute :salute :salute :aok :aok :aok

Nice, very nice, however Truman was my least favorite president, next to Kennedy.

Looks good. I wish I had the patients to do something like that.
