I got the film of it too if some want it. And watching it, i realized Grizz did a hell of a fine job staying alive against JG2 as well. Deserves one more

What you cant tell real good from the film is every time the spit had a disadvantage. He ran to his ack.

I ended up getting killed more from a dumb move I did then anything special the spit driver did.

Its all good. whatever works

From what I saw in the chute he did put up a hell of a fight against Lepape2 though

Yeah, I was doing what I had to to stay alive.  Only get one life in FSO and every point counts for your side.  Wasn't going to fight a 1v2 and needlessly die.  I did get a lucky shot on you, looked like I hit a stabilizer or something, very improbable with Spit1 bbs.  Once you went down though I thought I'd be able to reverse the other 109E4 easily and get the kill, of course it turned out to be LePape2 and turned into an epic fight that could have gone either way at any time.

Grizz, what convergence were you using?  I tightened up to 175 last night and my bb's seemed more effective than yours.  Then again, the gun emplacements are also closer together in the Hurri.

200-250.  I have no justification for that convergence, I don't find myself in the Spit1 very often.  It was probably more of my aim  being off than any convergence issues.  When I don't fly for a while, my aim is the first thing to go.  From my experience with that particular matchup in the past, I think the Spit1 has the edge as long as it has equal or more E to start the fight which I had.  I think LePape2 outfly me in the E4, was a hell of a job and at the end of the film I said it, "That guy was good!".
