I dodn't recall in wich thread, but you asked for P47s carrying bombs and rockets at the same time.
Sorry I didn't had time to post them earlier, my work is a bit overwhelming.
Here is what I got in my archieves, I'm not trying to prove a point for AH loadout, I just show them to you  :)

This P-47D-27-RE of the 404th FG sits awaiting a mission. It has been fully armed with three 500 lb. bombs and four 5 inch rockets.

Rockets and Bombs on the wing, not possible in AH.

More bombs and rockets on a P47-N  :D

As a side note, the 165 Gal Wing Drop Tank is would be nice too  :)

ok, looks good so far

although is that 2x1000lb 1x500? and 4 rockets? or all 500lb?

and those big bombs on p47n are 1000lbs? they look more like 1000lbers.

now we need pics of 190a with bomb and wr21 rockets
p38 with the full loadout and p51 with full too

all pictures i have found have one or the other, not trying to be pedantic but even these pics show 3x500 and only 4 rockets not the huge 2x1000 1x500 and 6 rockets.
BUT  its close enough i guess  :D

As I said, I'm not trying to make a point, I showed bombs AND rockets could be carried at the same time. (And note it's not possible for the D25 to have rckts and bombs at the same time in AH).

Here's a loaded P51b...My ignorance of the subject prevents me from telling what size those bombs are.  Any ideas?

the bombs on the pony are 1K Minol bombs. Not designed for penetration but blast and fragmentation were its job.

14 rockets (experimental)

8 .50 cals on nose and 4 .50 cals on the wings strafer version (experimental)

P-38F carrying a dummy torpedo

"Colonel (now General, Ret.) Charles M. Young and his P-38, loaded with 2000 lb bombs"

Will find a full plane pic of a 38 with 2k bombs hanging from each wing, I saw a few of them while looking for a droop snoot pic.

Last time I checked the P-47D-25 in AH could indeed have bombs + bazooka tubes on the wings... what are you talking about Frenchy?

PS: the D-30 carries 10 rockets, not 6 hazed.  ;)

frenchy was saying in his photo, if you notice, there are bombs on the wings as WELL as rockets.
he doesnt mean the central bomb.

10 rockets?? hehe it gets worse  ;)

Juzz is right, sorry for the confusion, for whatever reason, I was sure we couldn't but 6 rockets AND bombs on the wing at the same time.
Mea Culpa.   :o
