F4F-3 of VMO-251.
VMO-251 fought through several campaigns in the Pacific Theater, first in F4Fs before transitioning to F4U-1As, and elements of the squadron were a part of the Cactus Air Force during the critical first three months of the Battle of Guadalcanal. They would later be reorganized into VMF-251 by 1945 flying F4U-1Ds.
Suitably faded and weathered for a Marine.
Still some work to do, she's not quite dirty enough yet.
