Game stutter on first fire of guns each sortie
« on: August 12, 2009, 02:51:31 AM »
This is a problem I've had since the new version of AH2 was released but it seems to have gotten worse and more frequent with the latest patch I believe?  Regardless, my game stutters the first time I fire my guns each sortie.  I am having to fire a couple bursts before I engage just to get the stutter out of the way.  I've also heard from a few others that they are having the same problem.  I have a hunch it is sound related.

I should also mention that I have tried turning down my sound acceleration one notch as suggested in the readme file.  It didn't help.

Have you tried updating the sound driver? That driver is 6+ years old...

Working on that now.  It worked perfectly fine before the new version though.
