great idea! :aok

or make it possible to shoot the driver through the little square hole in the front of the tank.

i pumped all 24 rounds into that hole and nothing happened.

I was so close to revenge too. :cry

Rumor has it back in the AH1 days of yore, the pilot could kill even Tigers by shooting the drivers vision slit . . .

wouldn't that just make the tank undrivable?  Theoretically, the gunner in the turret could still kill you.

*I can see somebody asking for this and saying you could 'drop troops' to replace your tank driver.... don't... its a dumb idea... you've been warned.

I didn't say it made sense.   :(  Just that it was the rumor.

Pilots often did that didn't they - unclip their chutes, stroll up to a tank while dodging the bullets, and then shoot the driver through the slit.  :rofl
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

The colt .45 can kill a TIGER without problems.
Wouldnt it be reasonable to allow one in the game to shoot the driver with the 45?

from what Ive seen, you can de-tread a tank with the 45, so that would be an annoying revenge  :lol

During one of my first tank sorties in AH1 I was fiddling with the arrow keys trying to get a better view out of the tank. I finally moved it way forward and said hey this is good. About that time a spit came in from the front and nailed me. I drove around the next few minutes bleeding out. I was so P.O.'d.  :rofl :rofl :rofl
