ATI Tray tools and WIN 7
« on: September 30, 2009, 04:34:48 PM »
I have an older machine that I have been testing WIN 7 with. I am going to install a HD3850 AGP video card in this machine. AMD offers WIN 7 specific drivers. I do not want to install the Catalyst software.
Question: Does the ATI Tray Tools work with WIN 7 32bit?

It works. It works also with Win7 64-bit but you will have to disable driver signing on every bootup.

On 32-bit version the driver enforcement is not on AFAIK.
