Next FSO, Just Curious
« on: October 15, 2009, 10:02:29 AM »
I am not up again until February but I am starting to think about my next FSO already.

Couple quick questions, what do you all think of capture the flag GV missions? Also about fleet battles. Thinking about having both in my next design. Just looking for constructive input why I mull things over.

Hear anything about Frame 3 Orders?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

What theater?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Nefarious, nothing on my front yet. I will nudge them but considering I sent out the setup for frame 3 before I left for Europe they have had plenty of time to work on them.

In my case the Med, but on a new map that has not been used before. Thinking of a British fleet versus Italian fleet duel as part of it. The fleet fight in the Guadalcanal FSO I ran in 2009 seemed to go over well. So thinking of having another one with CAs, DDs, and PTs facing off.

Any blue planes planned?

What do you mean "Sort of?" It's tough, agile, doesn't climb all that great, and has Brownings. Definitely a blue plane. :D

We have used fleet battles and GVs in past events with success, but the overall design is the thing to me, not specific components.

Yep, I thought they were successful but just wanted to make sure that is just not my opinion since I am tinkering with an idea of expanding their scope.
