I have the fastest system and graphics card in the game but its not for me that I said that and if you think it wont hurt performance then you dont understand the nature of the beast.

Try me.  I've been working for/in the gaming industry over a decade in one role or another.  Programmer, script writer, business development, quality assurance testing, game interface design, marketing and media, and management.  :D

The idea is to balance in-game environmentals that adds atmosphere and realism and improve immersion.  HTC are no dummies in this aspect - look how well they implemented the water improvements.

And now you need to qualify why it will suck and how it will kill fps other than stating so.

If your resume is as complete as you say then you should already understand the situation but of course since you ask...

Not everyone has the bang up system you or I do. Plenty of people complained about the addition of the water for instance. When it comes to this weather 'enhancement' you might suggest that HTC make it selectable... but off for one should be off for all or it has no real 'presence' (effectiveness) in the game (why add it?).

I would like to see the option in order to recreate bad weather scenarios but I would also like to have a campaign engine offline. I dont see either one coming anytime soon because weather does nothing for the fight or the game because just like the problems they had with night people will log off with weather over a fight and it is inevitable that the one area of a good fight would have bad weather. Weather will kill fights.

You're making the assumption that I want this for the MA - if you are the player I think you are you could realize the power weather has for offline missions(which will be online soon), the SEA & AvA.

We often run winter maps - cold weather changes flight dynamics.

If you want just to fly and fight, you already have your arena. :salute

We don't have to have hurricanes/tornados - just poor weather moving slowly in fronts covering one or two sectors.
What's that? Heavier clouds, poor visibility below a certain altitude and some gusting.
Don't know how it would affect the lower end machines though - that might be the problem.
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.
