Seriously...first thought was food (we carry deer like that). However typically you don't keep the front end, all the good meat is down the back.

Second though is maybe its used for some sort of periscope camo? It looks like somewhere in North Africa, where there isn't much cover where peeking over a ridge is likely to get you spotted. If it was a true dead animal the head would not be up like that.

You guys have to admit, if its a hidden spotting scope it's a damned ingenious idea :D

I can't see em, the is something on his belt, on the left side, thats far to big to be a hoof. I doubt a live donkey would stay like that too, it wouldn't be very comfortable for it. There should be more torso, and a fatter torso. Tilt your head right 45 degrees, and you'll see that a short'n'skinny donkey.

I believe the Donkey is photo shopped in place of a Machine Gun tripod.

I think I see a third hoof by his right hand, right under the front right hoof.

Yeah I noticed that too, but it doesn't make sense to be sitting up there like that, unsupported it'd hang down. I'm backing the photoshop theory. The weight of ruminid animals of that size is usually fairly hefty.

I'm thinking photoshop. If not, the periscope idea. That is definitely not a real donkey. Take a very close look at the head. It seems to have very human facial expressions, like something disney would put out.
