Offline Mission Crash

Greetings All!

I've been wanting to play some offline missions since I heard that some of the new patches are helping with the bugs, but I'm still having some trouble. 

After downloading a .mis file (or just creating my own), I run it through the mission editor to produce the .res, but when I click to bring up the mission selection screen in AH2 the comp freezes to a plain white screen.  Also it seems my video card is trying to switch modes during the crash.

I've searched the forums but can't find anything directly rated to this; am I doing something wrong?  Could it be that one of the missions is corrupt?

Any help would be great, thanks!

What was it?  Just for someone else's future reference.

The fix was the mission itself.

I went through and deleted the entire contents of the folders: res and offmis, I think it is.

After that I just went through individual missions and using the new Mission Editor, created the RES out of the mission file.  So far, only 1 mission has worked completely correctly, but at least that is the problem.

Having the same problem, will try to do what you suggested and wipe the folder and try again.  Wish me luck.  I really want to try the furball, along with soda's and Ranger's missions.

Will post back shortly, hopefully with favorable results.

Yeah, like I said, just got that one mission to work out of the probably 75% of the downloadable missions on this site.

I think it's 190s vs P51s or something like that.
