Target maps
« on: January 13, 2010, 04:57:40 PM »
Any chance of getting a set of target maps like we used to have for the old factory strat city system?

I know there is the csmap.  It does not provide me with the detail I want for strategic bombing raid planning.

Unlike the old strat's, the new one is too big to get much detail and still have it small enough to work as a clipboard map.

Also using CM eye can get you into a pretty good position for screen shots to build your own maps.

Been there, done that.  Did not like my results.

Good idea.  I shall give it a try.

Recce!
Overfly with a recce plane ... do we have any?
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

try doing your screenshots form the bombsite.

edit: do it offline fly over your own city to save time.

The one time I was flying over the new city strat chasing a bomber there was so much flak going off it looked like I could walk my cartoon self across the black puffs up there.

This method gives a good result.  However, I find the CM eye much better.
