WWI pilot animations
« on: March 12, 2010, 01:03:29 PM »
I'd first like to say that the moving pilot when steering is AWESOME. :O :O :O :rock

-I was looking at it in the skin viewer and noticed when looking at the F2B, if you move both the rudder and aileron all the way to the left/right, the pilot's head rotates 180 degrees... OUCH!  :uhoh
Something you might want to fix if someone decides to make a movie.

-Also, the pilots aren't animated in the other WWI aircraft

-You can't move the DVII's aileron in the skin viewer.

The pilot's head is moving like that because we allow the control surfaces to move a greater distance than they actually do in the game.  This allows the skinners to see areas that may be hidden from them.

Not sure about the DVII's aileron though.

O ok, thanks for clearing that up.

But, why is it that the F2B is the only one with an animated pilot?

They all should be animating in the skin viewer.  I'm not sure why the others aren't.
