Experimental Aircraft Arena
« on: April 06, 2010, 11:02:46 PM »
Pretty obvious from title...

With all of these "Non-Worthy Planes" requests, how about creating an arena that these planes could fight.

Of course this is just a wish, dis-regard whether or not its needed now or later...just a +1 or -1

Wouldn't you rather have HTC work on new aircraft that we can fly rather than the ones that we can't?

Which experimental aircraft do you have in mind? The ones that never sow combat or the real experimental ones which were used for testing?

Both

Well the ones that never sow combat would be a good idea for distant future. (but as you say in a separate arena). However I don't think the experimental ones that were made for testing would be of any use because they were mostly unarmed and used to test the airframe or engine.

But I would much rather see Korean War

Just my opinion.

Complete waste of time.  There is no way to have even remotely accurate flight models for things that never flew or never had their performance documented.

What I was going to say.
most of the FMs would be anywhere from a wild guess to a semi educated estimation. If you are talking about stuff like a cannon pony or F7F that data is available for. Then thats probably OK for a seperate arena. Almost Late War Arena.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.
