Hi, I want to get a new joystick for Christmas and I want to make sure that the joystick is FF enabled  .

I do have a request though I dont wanna pay over like 80-90 dollars on a joystick and those are the 2 sticks taht are under the price.  Could you all please tell me which is the better stick out of the two.  I would also like the Pro's and Cons if you feel like typing them in.  Thanks for your help!

I have had both, i got the force feedback and i did not like how noisy it was so i took it back and got the Logitech which was better....However then i discovered that I dont like force feedback.  Then i went and got myself a Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3d, and I have never seen a better more responsive joystick in my life, and its only like $40 US.  if i were you I wouldent bother a force feedback, the whole jiggle shake shake gets tiresum and then all you have is a REALLY big joystick that needs its own power supply.

Is it possible to turn off the force feedback?  To just use it as a regular joystick.

Yes you can disable FF, and after very long at all you will, FF gets annoying really quick, and then when you do turn off FF your stuck with an expensive giant joystick that needs its own power supply.

Plus FF joysticks usually dont have as good of.."tune" as regular ones.  they dont have the same precision.

I find that FF sticks with FF turned off actually feel much better than ordinary "spring" sticks. Don't get the Logitech, though, I just tested it and it's got some heat problems as well as being a major pain in the bellybutton to program (Want your Roger Wilco "push-to-talk" on the stick, like in real life? sorry, you can't with Logitech).

Actually from what I've seen alot of sticks have an issue with RW in AH.  I can't get it to work with the MS Prec Pro either.
