Maps
« on: May 24, 2010, 07:27:08 AM »
skuzzy, have you guys ever considered posting a big file that has all the maps in it, so that they could be downloaded all at once off the website? i have plenty of bandwidth and time to download. it would be much easier then waiting for each map to load. just curious. thanks in advance.

HOME ----------> Downloads -----------------> Terrains!!!

Not all at once, but you can grab all the maps for MA's & SEA's.

I'm aware of that, I'm looking for 1 single file with all terrains in it that would auto-extract.

Not totally sure but I'm thinking they would need to spend a few weeks rewriting the Windows Installer then.......  :uhoh

But, regardless.......  It would be cool to be able to d'L all the terrains at once.... (as well as, dare I say, the SKINS!)

Put it out as a year pack, ie "Terrain pack 6,2010" contains all terrains that had been approved up to this point.

Same for skins.

I wouldn't expect them to do it more than once a year.

Not a bad idea, and it certainly would be convenient. For the time being, if you have Firefox look into an add-on called "DownThemAll!". You can set a filter(like say .res) and then just have it download all the files on that page that are .res files at once.

Here I took the time to download all of them and zip them up.  Click HERE to get the zip file.
