Isn't the HE charge of the AP shell going off inside the tank modeled? Then the AP round would not have to hit anything specific to do a lot of damage to crewmen...
I did not explain very well in the last post. You hit the skirt of the tank, miss the wheels, then hit the primary hull. If you pierce a hull , yes you will do damage. If not,no damage is done.
