Any takers?

I'm upgrading and need to get rid of this stuff. I get 45-55 fps in 1024X760 in AH running Diamond Viper 770 ultra and 128 meg ram.

Will probably do the money transfer western union as to insure me not getting screwed.

"V" version?

or earlier which is limited to 600 Mhz (100 Mhz bus) due to voltage mismatch.

Done sold it   It was a 100mhz bus mobo and cpu. I have my new 800 mhz cpu and mobo installed, but cant get it to see my modem or sound card LOL, oh the joys of upgrading.

I'll get this prob straightened out tonight tho. I cant believe how far the prices of cpu's have fallen. I got the 800 mhz and mobo for less than 400 bucks. Seems like a helluva deal to me. what do you think badger?

Definately Hblair. Good time to be an upgrader!   About 3 months ago I'd have jumped all over your offer but since I'm in a decent position to do a major upgrade I've been eyeing the 700 and 800mhz cpu's that have dropped to ludicrous cost. One of those I can just slap onto my existing MB.

PentiumŪ III 800EB, 133MHz BUS, FCPGA 256K CACHE, COPPERMINE - OEM - * LIMIT ONE - $ 239

 PentiumŪ III 800 PGA 256K 100MHz BUS OEM - * LIMIT ONE - $ 241

this is what i've been looking at. was wondering if the 133mhz bus speed make any difference. will i have to get another MB. im running 100mhz FSB right now.

I'm not sure of the performance boost a 133mhz would give ya.  Plus, you may need to upgrade your motherboard AND your RAM to go 133.  Too many variables to go into it here, so basically, if you don't wanna have to screw with it forever to make it work, just go for the 100mhz

SoB

Would the 100mhz chip with 133mhz Ram leave more room for O/C'ing?

Go here to learn all ya'll ever need to know about overclocking. TOM's Hardware on Overclocking; the best CPU to overclock for the MONEY

One point; alot of the intel P3 CPU's won't let ya change the mutiplier factor, so to overclock you must raise your bus speed.

I have a P3 733EB (133FSB); I overclocked it to 770 simply by raising the FSB to 140

Gonna try 150 FSB one o these days

Yeah, I'd think so with the right board.  If you got a board with a chipset that was designed to run at 133mHz, you could plug the 800 in with your 133 RAM, and try to run it at 1064mhz...don't know if it'd work or not.  The BX chipset is pretty stable too, although it's designed to run at 100mhz, it can run stable at 133.  I've got my 800 o/c to 896 on an Asus CUBX (BX Chipset board)with 112mhz bus speed.  Definitely go to Tom's Hardware, like Milinko recommends, as you'll find all the information you want and then some, and then some more!

Good Luck!
