need advice on memory buying
« on: October 16, 2001, 06:04:00 PM »
Hiya all,

Just curoius my BH6 MB has capacity of 384 and got 284 curently but not brand name.  I was going go buy from crucial and like to know which should i buy
this:
1.)**SDRAM, PC100 • CL=2 • Unbuffered • Non-parity • 8ns • 3.3V • 16Meg x 64 SDRAM,

2.)**SDRAM, PC133 • CL=2 • Unbuffered • Non-parity • 7.5ns • 3.3V • 16Meg x 64

3.)**SDRAM, PC133 • CL=3 • Unbuffered • ECC • 7.5ns • 3.3V • 16Meg x 72

4.)SDRAM, PC133 • CL=2 • Unbuffered • ECC • 7.5ns • 3.3V • 16Meg x 72

I don't understand 7.5ns unbuffered and ECC stuff.  I have PIII 850 win98se and Redeon DDR 64mb VIVo

Which of those are good for Overclocking my computer too.  I can OC mine easly to 950 without any extra fan.  It can be OC to 1050 but not going to OC that far.  Anyhow which of these good to buy.  Think the memory i got is cheap.

Thank You in advance

Bash
