This is a true problem though, the old drunk guys driving under the influence.

I had a seriously alcoholic neighbor in his 70's that drank only when he was awake. He totaled two cars in 2 months. He was never accused of a DUI nor was he suspected. He always keep a bottle with his favorite mixed drink in the trunk.

It was in Rockford, IL about 10 years ago. I asked him once what he did, but don't remember, something in food sales. He did speak of a time when an officer/sheriff was pissed at him for not updating his license with his new home address. This was in court and the judge scorned the officer/sheriff for his remarks.
