I may have an IRQ issue... is this normal?
« on: October 17, 2001, 08:06:00 PM »
OK, I have Win28pro..
when I look into my device manager and and view devices by connection this is what I see:

Ethernet card:      irq 7
SBLIVE:             irq 7
Radeon 7200/64DDR:  irq 7
USB1:               irq 7
USB2:               irq 7

so is it ok for my computer to be gangbanging IRQ 7 like that?

I though you wanted the video to have its own, aswell as the sound.. whats the deal here?

Oh my Wobble,....get to work.  I am surprised you have not had any problems.  The SBLive card does not like to share interrupts.
Your poor Radeon is taking a beating with all those devices on one IRQ.
You get all those devices on thier own interrupts and I bet you gain quite a few FPS back.
