All though not WW2 by any stretch does anyone have any files or manuals on J-85s?
Looking like I might go to work for a jet dragster team that uses J-85 (-17s mainly) and want to get a head start. Looks to be a pretty sweet deal, they will eventually be giving me a key to their shop. I was amazed at all the spares, cores, and race ready J-85 (some J-60's too) turbines they have. At least 5-6 engines and parts to build several more, the bulk of the material was not even stored in this area either. Nothing set in stone but I am excited to even be considered, this would be a one in a million job. Anything that can get me up to speed, even a little, would be well worth reading.
(I realized, too late I might add, that this would probably be a better section to post this than the O'Club)
