Once winrar is installed you should have a winrar option in your right click options.
It is as simple as highlighting the folders or files you want to protect, right click, select winrar, add to archive.
Once you do that a window will pop up. it is going to have several tabs across the top, general, advanced, options, files, backup, time, etc.
It will ask you for a file name. Then click on Advanced, right hand side, middle, "Set password" another window pops up for you to enter the password.
Basically pretty simple its just a matter of walking through it a time or 2.
Don't forget what password you used or you might as well delete the compressed file with your stuff.
