Man I'm so jealous to you..

I wanted the epox kha2 but I had to go with amd760 instead cause the buggers are not shipping to finland untill next month!!

You seem to have a nice setup there, except 20gig hd????? What for? You would have got another 20 gig for an extra $20 lol.

Also that 300W psu might or might not cause probs, good luck with that one.

Good luck Ammo!

Fellas, I got the components (except the memory) at United Micro for $500. You need to mention that the promo price is $255 at pricewatch for the MB/CPU/CPUfan combo. You most likely can do better on the case, I payed $53 for it. I looked around and found it cheaper but when you pay twice the S&H it will negate any savings. Directron.com is also very competitive. The memory cost me $71 from crucial. I still need to get some case fans  :) and I am sure ( never done this before) that I will find I still need things... I am guessing that I will have the wiring for the drives included in the case...I hope. The case only has 1 fan, need more. As far as the 20 Gb HD, well I looked at it this way, why do I need anything more than 20 gig? I could have bought more for sure. I really wanted an IBM HD but it was $30 more... I was trying hard to keep the cost down.

Edit-- You will notice there is no vid card included in this list :) I will use my Geforce 2MX 32Mb until I have the money to buy an upgrade.

I too went as low in $$ as I could. I have components lying around, so I really didn't need everything anyway. I too will likely have to pick up the odd thing here or there, but I will worry when the time comes.

Mine came from American Computech, and paid $305.67, shipping included.

EXCELLENT choices ammo boy.
There are few people that take the time to do the research you did and make some good sound choices, way to go.

You have a KILLER system there, you will enjoy it very, very much.

I'm proud kiddo   ;)

Don't expect much frame rate increase without switching out the video card.

yea, I know bloom. Money well dried up. But I got my old stuff taken care of, I do expect a little increase and next on the list is a new vid card, leaning toward a Geforce3 TI200.

Aminal-- thx for everything, sarcasm included ;)
