Besides Saxman with american Iron and his MkVIII, has anyone else been able to make the new gunsight system work? I've tried a 512x512 file with the old Rus 256x256 bmp sight pasted into the center of a new 512x512 (rus.bmp) file. Then using a (rus.mil) file at 128, 256, 512, there is no change of how large the sight shows in the La's and Yak's. I can physicaly change the rings in a 512x512 bmp file larger than the default russian sight by creating my own larger rings. But, I thought the new system would expand the old size sight if I pasted it into a 512x512 black (. bmp) file and changed the number in the (.mil) file. Theat looks like how Saxmans 512x512 sight and (.mil) file works very successfully.
Is there something I'm missing HiTech....Saxman?
HiTech do you need to rebuild all the default country gunsights and release them again?
