The New Update
« on: July 26, 2010, 09:24:19 AM »
Just a little post to see if everyone agrees with me on this subject :)

Right here it is

Has anyone noticed that since the new update one little detail has been rectified ???

And that is the aircraft :) Wait let me explain :)

I don't know about anyone else but if you look at the front of the aircraft and the rest of it. It all seems to be more how you say it Rounded / Curved
and no longer semi curved or semi straight lines imitating a curve :) Or is it called Pixelated curve's i don't know I'm sure a computer  ( geek ) expert will correct me on it and i welcome the correction :) Basically what I'm saying is everything seems to be smoother detail now.

Now surely my graphics card hasn't been changed and upgraded while i slept the night before the new update.

Whats your thoughts on this ?????  :headscratch:  :headscratch:

Wish I could say thank you, but we have not changed anything like you are speaking of. It may be you are looking at at newer vs older plane.

HTC & Co.

Love the new updates. Town and field updates are great. The sound update has really opened up the options for my system at home. The code now support 2.1 dital out so my sub woofer finally works.  :aok

Also the head position updates have improved the visibility in a few of the real basket case planes.  :aok

Great job. A lot of value added.

Head position boundaries are no longer required to be square or rectangular.

Maybe this has an effect on what he's seeing.

You have a newer version of IE , likley 8. Try "Tools" and then "Compatabilty mode." Worked for me.

i just moved the old version to a new folder, and downloaded this fresh. i havn't flown online yet, as if i get on now, i'll be up all night.

 a few quick observations.

sounds.  using the sounds that come with the game, i can turn the engines down to where they don't give me a headache. i can still hear the stall buzzer perfectly fine. i can still hear the gear perfectly fine. i cannot hear my flaps deploying, or retracting though.

flight. it feels exactly the same to me, in my peeee-38 o doom.

looks. friggin GREAT. 'nuff said 'bout that.

i will however toss one simple complaint in here(although i manage to die perfectly fine either way).

when we get the next update, is it possible to do something about the auto-retracting flaps? i can get myself into enough trouble perfectly fine, without them retracting at a (normally) very very incredibly ungood time.  :devil

keep up the excellent work doooods.  :aok
