Cockpit Improvements
« on: August 18, 2010, 12:55:18 AM »
Hey all at HTC.

I know all of us here love the idea of adding new and exciting things to AH2. But It has come to my attention that variants are more common than new aircraft. This gave me an idea.

As we have seen the marvelous work you have done at the graphics and textures, and at getting all the bugs out.

I would like to just say this. PLEASE re work ALL the Aces High Cockpits that preceeded the update. As in devote all efforts into rebuilding their cockpits. Also I would like to beg and plead that the skins be retained if possible.

And as they are variant upgrades, could you make it generic, so that we do not have a repeat of the Tempy Typh thing. Really quite odd.

well, that not possible to retain skins because when they redo cockpits, they also remodel the WHOLE PLANE. Would you like the inside of a C-47 look immaculate, then you look out to your left and see a hexagon shaped engine? I wouldn't. The remake the whole plane at the same time.

So instead of keeping things looking and feeling realistic, you want HTC to go for a more gamey look and make all the cockpits generic? How would this be an improvement? I'd rather have bad textures than this.

If you are unhappy with the current situation I'm sure you could try and rework the cockpit of an non-updated plane and submit it. Once the laughing stops I'm sure it will be a valid yet hysterical......no!

I think what he is saying is if there are two aircraft that are almost the same (different model) to update both planes at the same time.

Why only the cockpit? You do realize you see other parts of your aircraft out of the cockpit, right?

My idea is simple, I am sick of sitting inside a C-47 or B-26 and seeing one item in the cockpit, and that is a 2d instrument panel.

I want the inside to match the out. If you get me ?

The problem is with this, I truly dont think anyone including my self know what your asking for, the cockpits get updated when they updade the whole plane, that is the best answer I can give you, due to my lack of understanding about the wish
