Odd stalls when full flaps
« on: September 16, 2010, 12:21:38 AM »
I use a MS FFB and since patch the plane doesnt want to stay flying at full flaps. Rolls left and spins. Anyone else have similar problem?

Didn't give much info...

Is this hardware related do you think?  If so, best in the hardware forum.

Which plane is this in particular?  Or is it in any plane?

What speed are you flying full flaps?  Perhaps one of your flaps got shot causing only one to drop?

Thanks for reply Sector9. I was flying last night in the DA with TnDep and Bat and noticed that everytime Id get to my most extended flap position the p40 would keel over to the left and just go into a spin. Sometimes I was slow, but other times I was fairly fast and added 1 notch and it would want to do the same thing. I then noticed it was doing it everytime I'd hit flap, but it was just much more evident at the lowest setting.

I cant really understand this as before the patch the stick was fine. Its something that Im sure alot of you understand, its a "feel". We've all flown for years and we know what we can do with the planes, but suddenly theres something not allowing what you have normally done right along.

Just curious if theres an issue with my stick with the new patch, if there was a change with how it makes the stick behave, or if my stick is about to kick the bucket.

if all was well before the patch, then i would think this problem can have only have been caused by the patch.......

I just read in the patch readme that a force feedback bug was fixed. Curious if this is the reason. Posted in help thanks.

It was an initialization bug fix. It had nothing to do with altering a plane's flight model.

I had this before the patch but mine was more error I think...it was an oddity at the time (couple 2-3 times)had me  :headscratch: as I had never experienced it with or like this before...also the other night with the 61...just tipped left and fell from the sky with no ability to correct ( I was in the middle of a good rumble)..in the Ki's case I fell a good 2-3k...but for me I think it was an input problem as my stick has been playing up a lot lately.
