Is it the 'Medal of Honor', or the 'Congressional Medal of Honor'?
They're the same thing. It's formally known as the Congressional Medal of Honor, the U.S. highest honor awarded to military personnel who go far beyond the call of duty in combat during a declared war. I'm not sure I would call it the "ultimate medal" since a majority of the recipients receive it posthumously, and none of the recipients were thinking about earning a medal when they did what they did to get it.
There is also no "The" before "Medal of Honor", another oft made mistake by people.
hmmm...... It says,,,,, Good Conduct Medal......guess I was mistaken
