although as much as I hate to consider it I have to wonder how my SA has changed.  I may have to pop in the TA for a bit to see what it's like now...

The way I see it, anything to help a blind hog in an acorn patch. It's certainly helped this hog out a bunch.  Any time ya want to go to the DA/TA and do some tune up work, let me know.

Maybe stating the obvious, having enough SA (assuming there is any to start with, i.e., my usual problem) helps in knowing where to look for that sneaky dude.  The track IR helps make that process more natural when the blind hog is rooting for truffles.
