Mr. iPhone home repairer.
My iPhone went out a couple of weeks ago. I took it to At&T and no help. They gave me a card of a guy who could fix it. That was going to be 150 bucks. So with a little bit of internet searching I saw you could get an LCD screen for the iphone and a tool set for the iPhone for about $38 with shipping. Yesterday the LCD arrived. I tell you that iPhone has the smallest screws known to man. The screwdriver was suppose to be magnetic and it wasn't. I spent 10 hours working on that iphone. Most of the times was digging those incredibly tiny screws from a towel I used to keep them from bouncing onto the kitchen floor. Eventually I got it back together. However it didn't work. So I took it back apart and repeated everything. There was a tiny cable that was so thin you could barely see it when it was turned sideways. I like to never got that in. It even had a latch for it that required a magnifying glass to see it.
After putting it together the second time, no joy. I have had enough. I took it to an iPhone repair place. In 2 minutes he handed it back to me. I had not gotten the wire in correctly. He charged me nothing though I offered twice.
The world is beautiful today!
