Thank you all for downloading and watching and for also posting some great comments.  I did the best I could, and so did the actors!

Just to recount one thing in History really quick here. Couple of points actually
1) Churchill was PM after War had already been declared against Germany. Chamberlain was the PM.
2) Hitler knew of the treaty Britain and France had with Poland so he knew what would happen if he attacked.
3) Hitler invaded numerous countries that were at the onset of WWII were neutral.
4) His military forces didnt want him around and tried to kill him on numerous occasions

1) Churchill gave many speeches in the U.S advocating for war with Hitler since 1933.  It was not his first rodeo in attempting to get the US involved in a world war.
2) That treaty was made months before the invasion of Poland.  It was to protect Poland from any European power.  Hitler formed a pact with Soviet Union, and both countries invaded Poland dividing it in half.  Why did the Brits and French only declare war on Germany?
3) Yes Germany did invade neutral countries such as Norway.  Ireland was neutral, and the British invaded them!  The Soviets invaded Finland and the Balkins!
4) People wanted Churchill dead as well.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1viDJZfwzuw

Which is completely false. Of course the allies made mistakes. It's just that (as always after war) it is the victor who write history. German archives weren't even looked at until in the 90's for other reasons than strictly military business. No historians were interested. The post soviet era opened up soviet archives and in the 90's became available for researchers. Many falsifications and pure propaganda numbers have been discovered since. Such as the "infamous" tank battle at Prochorovka ridge in the Kursk battle 1943. The USSR always depicted it as a battle in which two tank corps marched into eachother completely unaware of the other's presence. This is false, the russians knew exactly where the german tank units were and threw in the reserve tank corps they had available. The official version was just to cover up the extreme losses which ensued in the desperate battle which raged for several days. Neither was it the death blow to the german panzer units it was always made up to be, that can be attributed to the overall attrition rates which the factories could not contend with.

There are some documented cases of mass executions of civilians on the soviet side, as well as documented cases of executions, torture and well... you name it, of POWs. In '44 the situation was so bad that no german POWs survived long enough to reach high command for intel gathering, all were executed/murdered during transition.

There are many falsifications in the official and established history of WW2. Kermit I think your movie puts forward a very plausible alternative even if we will never know what exactly transpired during those months, as so much documentation was destroyed on the german side.

The letters written to Rudolf Hess were supposed to go public in 2016.  Of course they went missing in the '90s and so we may never know who in the British government invited Mr Hess for peace negotiations on May 10, 1941, the day they stopped sending their bombers over to Britain.

 :noid

BUT!

The Nazi's did have the black book prepared along with an Occupied Britain for German Troops hand book that Hitler had ready to go should he decide to occupy Britain.  Plus the vast amount of atrocities the Nazis performed are sickening.  The amount of control the German people gave to their government in the 1930 was stupid!  Hitler promised them a socialist utopia, and the German people bought it.  At first the people resisted many of the Nazi ideas such as believing handicap people were no better than animals, and also that Jews should be killed.  With the amount of control the government was acquiring from the people, and the radical thinkers that were being put into office was a downward death spiral for their country.  It's a similar story in the Soviet Union.  It leads to a few radicals' will to be forced onto others.  In the Soviet Union, yeah Lenin was a murderer and acquired power that way, but nobody lives forever and his successor Stalin was even worse, once into power murdered more people than the Nazis, and they were our allies in WWII.

The British fought so hard against National Socialism in WWII.  Why couldn't they fight against the Marxist Socialist in the Soviet Union?  Churchill was a conservative, so why did he go along with it all?  Why did all the Western countries fight so hard to liberate Europe just to have an iron curtain drawn over Eastern Europe?  Who are the men really pulling the strings?   :noid

And who really killed Patton?  Ok that last one was just to stir up controversy.  :)

That is really great I almost never get to see anything from the Nazi point of view.  It even seems like the Germans interviewed for TV shows only show the parts that seem good for Western propaganda.

Been meaning to d/l this for a while now, might take me a few hours! Will report back as soon as I've watched it. Eagerly anticipating the movie, I loved all the LGM releases so far.

Quite a quick d/l infact :)

Absolute masterpiece creation. It's very refreshing to see something from a different viewpoint. Alot of what we know today is only due to one side writing the history. I really enjoyed it. Well done everyone invovled.

Thanks Batfink.  It may be 400MB, but it only takes ~6 min to download for those using a high speed internet connection.

This film begins with the 1940's American's "Why We Fight" Series, but quickly becomes hijacked to show the other side's "why we fight".
Can be viewed here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaeHnMn3Mig

Although in this film, "the few" are portrayed as selfish, it took courage many of us have never seen before to fight against superior numbers, technology and experience.  The odds of them winning were extremely slim, so slim, it would take an act of stupidity from the Germans to lose the BoB.  Yet, the few still fought.  Churchill was one of the few men who not only understood Hitler's words to be his intentions, but had the balls to stand up and fight back!  Churchill's words were to inspire, harden and prepare the British spirit for the worst of the worst, all the while taunting Hitler at the same time.  Although he may just be another man with flaws, I consider him to be a great hero to the entire world.

-Kermit

The British might want to pay attention to the treatment the following people experienced for their war efforts:

Hugh Dowding
This man was responsible for the defensive system of the RAF over Britain.

Air Marshall Arthur 'Bomber' Harris
The mere sight of pictures or statues creates controversy due to his acts of targeting civilians throughout the war.

Winston Churchill
He has a rocky life filled with controversy in both WWI and WWII.  He was loved just as much as he was hated.  He fought enemies both foreign and domestic.  He may have loved war more than his liquor, but a man of great character indeed he will be known for.  A great man, who's flaws should not be ignored.

Rudolf Hess
Nazi very close to Hitler until he flew a Bf-110 to offer peace to Britain on the last day of bombing England May 10, 1941.

Each of the above persons have information about them in museums all over Britain.  Happy hunting and thank you for watching.

Thanks everyone for watching and for all the comments!

Couldn't have made the film without a great deal of time and effort from the actors, Scenario CM Team and Scenario players, along with those players in the community that continue to inspire via sharing historical stories and information.

As always, all films are best viewed on big screens and big sound systems.
