Hehehe poor guy. I think I was the P47 in the picture... :noid That may have been the sortie where I intentionally augered into your fighter hangar at the base because all the greenies were vulching. I don't take pleasure in vulching. For personal reasons that is.

Why would anyone want to be one of the 15 in a 15 on 1? I mean whats the point, how fun can it be to try and get enough rounds into the "one" guy to get the kill never mind that it can't even remotely be called a fight.

lol was never a 15 on 1 , when i logged on there were fighting at i think 124 the defence was just as hard fought as the offense, i flew for a couple hours and the battle was still going on when i logged, I don't know if they ever took the base.. the battle was that even

For us Knits, it's more of a "oh, so that's how it feels to be on the other side of that fence" oportunity.

Plainly you do not understand the nuances of high-level strategy.

When I was new, I could have been one of those 15 just because of hunting fever. And I guess many of the newer players suffer from the same tunnel vision: They only see one enemy (one potential kill) and do not even notice the absurd tactical situation. Some can get the big picture even after years, not necessarily because they are "lame" ... but because they are blind in regards to SA.

Oh, and today I sometimes dive down and quickly kill that poor bastard for tactical reasons: All too often you have a cloud of enemies inbound with alt, but all friendlies are on the deck, trying to kill that poor P-40B... or following a lone smoking B-24.

And occasionally.... I don't even need a reason  :o :D
