I did not mean to imply today was to pay tribute to just vets from America just my way of honor a family member I certainty didn’t mean to affined any vet or  family member oversees.
:salute all our friends for their service and sacrifices they have made.

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month the guns went silent after 4 years of madness - every year we share 2 minutes silence at that anniversary point - it's called Rememberance Day in a lot of countries, especially the ones that gave up a fairly large slice of their young men. That's the point  - to remember the fallen especially Commonwealth troops from all over the former British Empire - thats where it came from.

Isn't a veteran someone who survives?

Salute to all Of our Current Vets that Are still Serving and the ones that have fallen to Give us the Freedom that we enjoy today and my Favorite Vet from WW2 My grandfather here is a photo of him today in front of one of the tanks he drove during the War but he was telling me that his tank did not have the white stars on it and it was more greenish without markings this was a rescue tank done for his Local WW2 Memorial in town
