Spikes,

Your squad even fly this FSO?

  Why even make your post?

Guess it makes you fell better about something.

Go figure, I thought this was about fun.

Per,

Thanks bro. KN is a class act and good sticks. I didn't know that a Muppet flew with you.

I just have a prob with guys that post here and put others down. Its not a bad thing having 27 guys that show up for FSO.

This game has a brutal learning curve and one day we will have no AH. Guys like him are just acceleration the demise.

<S> Per lets enjoy this while we have it.

Many Muppets fly with me in FSO. AoM doesnt fly FSO any more. Spikes is a good player and a good contributor to the community. I vouch for him any day. The fact he was pointing out is that getting 40 kills is impressive but let's not forget they had 27 pilots which is a Kill per pilot ratio of 1.5~.

I agree, having numbers is a great thing in FSO and I applaud CJ with that many kills. I dont think Spikes meant in a bad way. He was just pointing out some simple mathematics to counter the boasting.

Thanks for the kind words Joker.

This reply is for clarification only.  It is not to detract from the great job the CJs did.

The following comes from the log summaries.
Most Kills:
Claim Jumpers    40          avg.   1.48/pilot
412th FS           25          avg.   3.13/pilot

Most Objects Destroyed:
USMC/715Sqn       69                avg.    7.67/pilot

A big WTG for all 3 squads    :salute

JG11 just want to say great job guys.  It was a pleasure being your escort.  I have to say when the spits arrived they, as someone else put it, just appeared.  Initially they got a run or two in on the buffs but we were lucky enough to get them pushed down from our formations.  Army got our only kill last night.  We lost 2 planes to enemy action and 1 to a disco.5 pilots with 1 kill does not sound good but I feel we were able to accomplish our mission with help from others.  Most of the buffs made it home and that is what our mission was.  Protect the buffs to and from target.

     Again great Job JG11.

We as a squad averaged 3.13 kills/ pilot, but not all of our pilots killed 3 planes. As I stated in my previous post we had 8 show up and from what I heard from our C.O., we were the only squad tasked with defense of 117. 19 sets of buffs and 3 escorts came out to be 60 a/c. DazyCutr and I were on scout duty on one side of the base while the rest were doing search patterns on the other side. DazyCutr and I made first contact, took out the escorts, and then went to join the others fighting the buffs. By that time I think we had help from some other squads.

I love flying FSO and for the most part the stats and who killed who doesn't mean a lot to me. I like the immersion and the actual fights. Just MHO and again a big  :salute to all the squads who fly and fight on Friday nights.

I want to add my own thanks here for the fine escort by JG27 and Kommando Novotny.  We did lose a few planes, but in our "one pass and haul ***" we managed to destroy five of the six hangars plus two minor targets.  We also scored four partial air-to-air kills and one full kill.

And you folks made our attack possible.  Thank you!  :salute

The Claim Jumpers had a blast! These guys know how to have fun and still laugh and dogfight and laugh again!  The guys can click into combat mode and wingup when the cons are in range and just as easy to joke about dogfighting bomber vs. bomber!  We practice missions with FSO rides and flight test the rides we will be assigned.  A great group of guys are ready to share tips.

I had landed and was ready to tower when the base started flashing. I decided to roll low fuel and soon saw like 7 109s overhead. I died.
