I recently posted a thread about display problems, namely some kind of interference between the modem when it was connected to the net and my Hercules Prophet II Pro card. Basically the edges of the screen would 'shimmer' when a connection to the net was open.

I tried the official NVidia 6.50 drivers and the unofficial 11.01 drivers. Both had the same problem. An intermittant screen flicker would also occur.

Switching back to the Hercules 5.32 drivers that came with the card, and the problem disappeared. So I downloaded the latest 7.52 Hercules drivers and have had no problems with them.

Does anyone know if it's a simple modification that is made between Hercules and NVidia drivers, to make them compatible?

I always thought NVidia drivers were compatible with the Hercules GeForce cards.

BTW, I have a modified Prophet II that overcomes the incompatibility problems with the Abit KT7A-RAID mobo. Perhaps this is the source of the incompatibility.

Anyway, looks like I'll be relying on Hercules to update their drivers from now on.
