skorpion, I have moved a lot in my childhood life.  The hardest move was when i was in 10th grade, from Cleavland, Ohio to Hays, Kansas.  What a cultural shock that was.  At first i hated Hays.  It was over 3 hours away from a major city, out in the middle of nowhere, little to nothing to do as a teenager, and it was a farm town.  After a while all that was something i loved.  Clean/open air, open community where you do not have to lock your doors, other activities that you would never do living in a big city and a lot of good looking country girls  :aok.  Just keep a open mind and see what it is like.

My parents moved 27 times by the time I was 15. It got so they we could pack up and load everything we owned in a few hours. It's an opportunity to meet new friends, and see new places or it's pure hell. It's all up to you, time to grow up!
I knew kids like that too, the endless moves didn't phase them at all. But if you're not used to it....can be nightmarish

I ran across skorpion the other day, he was piloting buffs and got some really good shots in on me at off angles.  Had a nice little pm conversation with him afterward.  I didn't realize he was a kid at the time even, he was nice, friendly, and respectful, I don't have a bad thing to say about him at all.  He's the kind of player this game needs I think, based on my fairly limited experience with him.

I hope you come back once you get situated man.  Since you're young and haven't had major life changes like this before, it seems a lot more catastrophic than it really is.  I know it's a big deal now, but looking back on it you'll remember it as not really being that huge.  You'll make friends and get a job and get in school and adjust and everything will start to feel great again.  At some point I hope you make it back into AH even.  Take your time and adjust at your own speed, not anyone else's.  Don't forget to have fun, even though you're upset, you'll be surprised how much good that will do for you.

Only problem is that I've now contributed quite a bit to the post count.

Ok im now in indiana. boy is it akward being outside with 2 sweatshirts, 3 coats and 2 pairs of socks. ive gotten wierd looks all around the neighborhood, also no other kids live around me...other than the good lookin' girl across the street...:D (lucky me!)
I also saw REAL snow for the first time today and i must say that i HATE it! its freezing cold, it gets wet and dribbly if it goes down the back of your shirt and it hurts like hell if someone throws a snowball that is really tightly packed. I guess im stuck here for a few years now  :uhoh but i guess its better than random street crime in las vegas.

If you are still in school, trust me that will help a lot.

When I was a sophomore in HS, my Pop got a big job in a small town and we moved right at the beginning of summer, man what a miserable couple of months that was. I was a damn lonesome teenager with no friends and I really hated life.

Once school started things quickly got a lot better for me.

Haven't read all these posts but I saw in one that skorpion said he had to post at hotel. That makes me wonder if this is the same guy that was in the DA tonight.
