Why not a night arena like we have at times in special events with 3.5k icon range. That would be pretty intense

People will jack up their gamma and turn night into day to gain any advantage they can.

The AvA arena has brief nighttime with a clock that typically runs 6x speed...and NO enemy icons.  Check it out sometime.

you can simulate night by messing with your settings, and that's about how many will play in the dark.
