The RCAF 411 Squadron (County of York) would provide any RAF, RCAF, RAAF squadrons with escort.

A good book on flying Lancaster is "A Thousand Shall Fall" by Mury Peden.
He flew Whimpys, Lanc III, and B17s.
Excellent book!

Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock: No ya wouldn't.
