This possibly should have been posted as a wishlist, but I have been staying away from the wishlists for a bit. Especially, since the last update has already changed quite a bit, along with the arena cap being resolved. First, I wanted opinions from those that already do custom work and would most likely participate in creations for the new H2H when it appears.
I know that when you create a map, you create a clipboard map and I have seen some awesome custom work. I was wondering if this could become a clipboard option to "upload" custom clipboard maps for your own personal (or scenario / squadron) use. They already have the option to load your own custom maps of fields.
My question to you all:
Do enough other folks think like myself, that in scenarios, or squad operations, maps with specific detail information like actual field layouts or relative direction, possibly valley routes and passages, etc. would warrant adequate interest in such an idea?
The idea came to me for an upcoming Scenario where a large area of open space will be searched. I thought of a color coded map that would include several sectors, for faster response to locations. BTW, in some scenarios there is no dar dot or dar bar, so coordinates are very important. In my case, I sometimes have difficulty reading the sector coordinates on some maps
In any case, it would be an immediate location to transmit and receive, "bogey 22k ft in NE
BLUE sector". I can keep my eyes on the bogey and relay information quickly thru vox.
