Wel,, Ketsu-Go has ended. My squad and I got 4 kills ( I got one of 'em on the unfortunate BushLt who was all alone and smoking - thrown to the wolves by his command). We had one combat death. We might've seen all of 8 or 10 allied a/c through the three-frame scenario. What the heck happened? It seems to me there must've been a major malfunction on the Allied side.
BTW, per etiquette, I scanned the topic list and searched under Ketsu-Go and found no one else talking about this. I understand I might've missed something but it wasn't from pure laziness - just a shortage of time.
Otherwise, if i'm joking, you'd know it - and I have no wish to tick Skuzzy off (sometime I just get curious about various site-related arcana - and that's genuine).
We (squaddies) were pretty disappointed. For my own part, I'd rather get shot down in a Ju-88 unescorted that fly around for 90 minutes and never see anything but masses of friendllies.
