Flying around in a formation of Lancs the other day and dropped my bombs on a base.  On my 6 o'clock I'm watching two planes come up to me.

The closer of the two was a P51 and almost on my dead 6... I'm in the tail gun watching him creep closer and closer...3.0K, 2.5K, 2.0K and finally 1.5K and I've got my finger on the trigger getting ready to light him up.

Right then, BAM BAM BAM!  All three planes blow up and I'm sent to tower.  At this point I'm so angry.. I'm thinking "what a cheater!  ZOMG how can he blow up all three of my planes like that at once!" but then I recomposed myself and got to thinking that maybe there's a more logical explanation.

So then I'm thinking maybe a rocket or something hit me?  I figured what the heck... so I PM'd him and asked him how he killed me like that from 1.5K out?

His response?  "You flew into a mountain!"

 

I was shadowing 2 sets last night that flew into a mountain. They were in good formation.

Any of the old hands still have the film from Shegotya's infamous bomber mission where 20-30 some odd pilots all spawned in the hanger then tried to roll straight out and launched right into the mountain killing most everyone involved in the mission?

That was a classic.

Now that I think about it, it might have been Betty that ran that mission.

what map was this on Trinity?    

I remember one time being up in a pony and saw a huge dar the other side of the vbase canyons.   Thinking to myself I'll have some of that action.   I got a little lost in the canyon myself trying to get to it without sufficient altitude,  popped over a ledge into where they were headed turned right to see nothing!!!  

I was like    what happened to them all?   Mass disco or they all crashed into that wall.

the video of the buff mish almost made me pee myself....I was holding it to finish the video and BAM! - rush to bathroom, laughing hysterically. Good stuff.
