Ya know, I wonder if those are the same people with the "Remove Hemorrhoids At Home", "Home Removal of Appendix & Tonsils Made Easy", and "Triple Bypass Surgery on Your Own Dining Room Table--Sure Ya Can!" website?

Lasik is a viable treatment to prolong lense flexibility.

Muscles will still weaken, lense still stiffens, age *will* take it's toll.

Cost effective? .. just how much is it worth to not wear corrective lenses?

Yeah it has to be a joke. During real lasik a thin layer of the cornea is sliced and the lasers reshape underneath that flap. No possible way it could be done at home LOL

I heard that Lasik surgery by a professional isn't worth the cost because you eye actually grows back to its old shape...
Not sure how credible that is though...

Not very, I would say.

I had professional Lasik done about 10 years ago.

It was one of the best things I've ever done, I was driving without glasses the next morning, haven't worn glasses since.

I only wish this technology had been available when I was in my 20's.

My vision with glasses was a little better than it is today without them, but it was worth the small difference.

I will still need reading glasses someday, as that is not a function of eye shape but losing lens elasticity due to age.

However I probably won't ever need bifocals.

I highly recommend it, but I didn't go with the lowest bidder.

No place for bargain priced surgery IMO.
