Mic DB boost
« on: June 02, 2011, 09:28:35 AM »
I'm loosing my Mic BD Boost.

I'll max Mic Volume and Boost... all's great, everyone hears me perfect :aok, not too loud or soft.

5 min later I have to scream to barely be heard. My setting have changed to:
                                              Volume/50%
                                             DB Boost/Zero%

I'll Max it all out again, but turn "Enable Auto Mic DB Boost" to OFF and I have no mike boost at all from the get-go.

My Playback is good.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Same here.  My game-mic setting reverts back to default as soon as I close the clipboard.
I have the mic volume maxed out in Windows.

i also noticed the manual mic settings get over ridden by the automatic settings every time you close the menu...it's probably a work in progress.

tried that, doesn't fix the issue. if you change the security rights on the file then the mic db boost will stay where you put it until you exit the game...then it resets back to where it was...mic volume always reverts to centered regardless.

I am also experiencing this issue and I also have Win 7 64 bit.  I have found that if I increase my Mic volume all the way up with Mic DB Boost enabled and then set the Mic DB Boost to full and click "OK" (DO NOT CLICK "APPLY"!), the Mic volume will reset to half but the DB Boost will remain at full enabling others to hear me on vox.  This must be redone every time you enter the game or change arenas.   I hope this works for you all as a work around until this gets fixed!   :salute
