Splash Screen Shows no ping for certain main arenas

If others are showing ping rates on the splash screen for the main arenas, I appologize for calling it a bug.  I can only report what is happening with my computer.  I have had issues in the past, where I needed to specify certain port ranges.  If there are different port ranges since the latest version please update me so that I can make sure the network admin is not out of date.

Mine is the same way Chilli, although i have a rather low end computer...........game still working great though

Same here chilli and several squaddies have reported the same thing.  Since the update I am only showing a ping for both SEA arenas.  I have not had any noticeable game issues due to this.

I've seen it before too. It could be your firewall blocking certain ports and/or certain IP's which might affect displaying the ping times from certain arenas.

From Skuzzy's Tech Forum post...

Axis vs Allies, Dueling, Early, Mid, Late War Blue: 206.16.60.39
All WW1 Dogfight Arenas, Training, Late War Orange, Late War Off Hours, Titanic Tuesday: 206.16.60.41
Special Events: 206.16.60.38

The current port range for all arenas in Aces High is 2000-7000, inclusive, for UDP and TCP.  Aces High will use a random subset of those ports for all online play.


Not sure if it will help or not, but you can remove all Aces High entries from your firewall exception list. Then fire up the game and allow the exception when your firewall asks if it should continue blocking the app.

i don't think it's a firewall issue. i've had the same issue even after doing what you suggested.

Seems to have been fixed the day before yesterday.  All ping times are listed.
