The Place:Southern tip of Sicily
The Time: The weeks between July 9th and August 17Th 1943

With Northern Africa free of fascist tyranny, the Allies now focused their attention on the Italian mainland in an effort to knock out the weaker Italian forces from under the Axis banner. But before the Italian coast could be hit, the Allies would need a staging point - this staging point became the German-held island of Sicily.

I can't imagine how an airfield could be captured, the guns come up so fast and they are so close to the airfields. That could be your intention though.

RE AAA: this terrain has standard gun placement build into it.
 We have no controll over were guns are placed on a terrain.. Only the intensity(lethality) of the AAA. That said the lethality is set well below MA AAA settings.. SO KILLTHE GUNS! LEVEL THE TOWN! ..Then walk your ten troops on in.

 Your base will automatically be populated with the appropriate aircraft/vehicles of your country to continue your conquest
