I played BC2 quite a bit and it never seemed to be as big of an issue than what I'm running into now in the beta,

Did you play it from early on?  Because even now you still get hit around corners.  It was much worse before.

Also like AH... Ripley's comments, as much as they sound like some of the worst games I've had lag wise, just can't be taken without grain of salt - without film.  There's no film in BF3.

I feel the opacity of the shadow levels in BF3 are way to high, to the point where all detail is crushed.

I've heard of fraps.  Why didn't you fraps?  I don't know which exact youtube vids match your issues; you do.

Contrast was ridiculous on Caspian.  Same as release date BC2 Atacama conquest map.  Just the same retarded design choices from DICE over and over again.  E.G. once again at least one of the guns does not shoot where its sight points.  I mean how do you diddly that up?  That's the whole point of the game right there.
