If nothing else, the movie should have been enough for people to remember the date. "Remember remember the 5th of November". Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament, wasn't it?

11th hour, 11th day, 11th month 1918. That is when they stop fighting. Right up to the last second. Approx. 150 solders dies in the last min. before all stop shooting at each other. Guess a few generals want that medal.
