« on: October 28, 2011, 05:28:22 PM »
As the subject line states.. I attempt to open a film and the viewer crashes within 15 seconds...

It crashes and the Microsoft error popup comes up... "ahfilm.exe has encountered a problem an needs to close."

This happens if I attempt to view a film or simply double-click on ahfilm.exe

How many films do you have in the film folder? There is a problem if the folder contains more than 300 files. I routinely store my films to another folder.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I have 39 films... Nonetheless, I'll move all but one and see what happens.

In that case (probably) you somehow have an older AHFilm program referenced to a newer version of AH. I would delete your desktop shortcut if you have one and re-reference the AHFilm program. If that doesnt work reinstall after deleting the AHFilm.

Somewhere in there it will get fixed.
