display icon of friendly in shore batt
« on: November 13, 2011, 06:12:25 PM »
I'd sure like to know who is in a shore batt, especially when it isn't firing on a CV racking the base.
Guys like me are the reason guys like you hate LA's

You know, +1 on this.

We see friendly names on GVs and Aircraft, so why not Guns?

I would have no problem with this.

The thing is though most times the problem is the cv is off to one side or the other of the arch of fire from the SB.

I have sat in SB for several before without firing due to waiting for it to come within the arch of fire. This is the only time i ever seen a SB not firing at enemy cv.

What is this going to do?

We still wont be bale to kick the noob out of the SB, we'll just be yelling on range and country that he's a idiot.

Not only that, but CV's do not have icons either. Anyway, if you saw the round coming at you, I'm sure that you might think "somebody is shooting at me".   :headscratch:
